As each project is unique, services can be tailored to meet individual client requirements.
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of Work splits the overall building project process into eight Work Stages (Stages 0 – 7).
Activities within these stages include:
Developing the brief
Producing feasibility studies
Producing concept designs
Submitting a Planning application
Submitting a Building Warrant application
Producing tender package for pricing
Construction phase contract administration
Snagging and handover to the client
Wild Studio Architecture + Design can be appointed to carry out as many or as few stages as required. The budget and programme will be reviewed with the client at each stage.
We are happy to offer an initial consultation at the property / site to discuss project aspirations, budget, timescale, etc. We can also provide an overview of the design and construction process; information on obtaining the necessary consents; and discuss the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 (Health & Safety).
This initial consultation is FREE of charge.
Projects will often require the input of other industry professionals, most often Structural Engineers, but may include (and not limited to) Civil Engineers, Chartered Surveyors, Landscape Architects, Ecologists, AV Consultants, etc. depending on the scale and complexity. We can advise on the selection of consultants and obtain quotes for their services, however this will be a direct client appointment, separate to our own.
Each fee proposal will be tailored to suit individual client and project requirements and is likely to take the form of one (or a combination) of the following:
percentage of the construction cost
hourly time charge
Our fee will be clearly stated, explained and agreed up front so there will be no hidden costs or surprises.
